Good Jamu is rooted in the age-old tradition of jamu, an Indonesian herbal drink that supports balance and tranquility in the body.

Founder Anna, who grew up in a Dutch/Moluccan family, learned the value of jamu at an early age. During her stay in Bali, Indonesia, she learned from local jamu masters and integrated this knowledge into her daily life. Back in the Netherlands, she shared her passion with friends and family, which eventually led to the founding of Good Jamu. This is how we bring authentic Indonesian jamu to the modern world.

At Good Jamu we offer an inspiring wellness experience that fully embraces our brand. Our plant-based elixirs are carefully formulated with organic and single-origin ingredients known for their natural, functional benefits.

We omit artificial colours/fragrances and additives, so you can enjoy a unique and rich taste without compromising on quality.

The ingredients we use in our jamu recipes have been carefully selected based on their health benefits and taste. Some examples include turmeric, ginger, lemongrass and tamarind. These ingredients are known for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and digestive properties, contributing to an overall feeling of well-being.

Fair Chain: Ethics and Transparency in Production

We believe that using single-origin ingredients contributes to better livelihoods for the farmers who produce them.
The history of the spice trade is often not positive, including in Indonesia. Because jamu is an Indonesian heritage, we buy herbs and spices directly from the farmers.

We only use organic, fresh and natural ingredients for our plant-based products. We want to inspire people with the benefits of natural remedies, like jamu, that not only taste great but also promote well-being.

Jamu is a craft that is in danger of disappearing. In Indonesia, people have less and less time to make jamu because the preparation process is labor intensive. The mass production of cheap crops for global consumption has reduced the profitability of traditional jamu. At Good Jamu we feel the responsibility to keep this age-old tradition alive and integrate it into the modern world. By offering authentic jamu, we want to preserve and share this valuable cultural heritage.
