Flavor profile
Tropical Turmeric offers a rich blend of spicy warmth and fresh notes, with extra depth from earthy and spicy accents. Each sip reveals a layered complexity, complemented by a subtle sweetness and a hint of turmeric that brings the whole together harmoniously. A taste experience that reveals new nuances with every sip.
Immune system
Tropical Turmeric is good for the immune system due to the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of turmeric and tamarind. Turmeric contains curcumin, which can help reduce inflammation and protect the body against infections. The antioxidants in both ingredients neutralize free radicals, which can contribute to a stronger immune system and overall well-being.
History
The origin of our Tropical Turmeric stems from Kunyit Asam, which goes back to the ancient Javanese kingdoms, where it was used in traditional wellness practices. Ancient Javanese texts mention the use of turmeric and tamarind for their rejuvenating and supportive properties. During the Dutch colonial era, knowledge of these traditional welfare practices was further disseminated and documented, leading to wider recognition and use.
