Minty Mocktail Good Jamu Island Ginger The Indigo Kitchen

Minty Orange mocktail

Jason Affo the mastermind behind it The Indigo Kitchen teams up with Good Jamu to bring you a mocktail that's perfect for those looking to cut back on alcohol in January. Introducing the Minty Orange mocktail, a refreshing drink that is guaranteed to put an end to the January blues.

One of the main ingredients in this mocktail is our Island Ginger jamu. Jamu is a traditional Indonesian herbal tonic known for its anti-inflammatory and immune-enhancing properties. Our Island Ginger jamu is made with a blend of ginger and other spices carefully selected to promote wellness and overall health.

The Minty Orange mocktail is made with fresh blood oranges, mint and a touch of sugar. The blood oranges give this drink a nice, citrusy flavor and add a boost of vitamin C. The mint leaves provide a refreshing aroma and a cool, invigorating taste. The sugar adds just a touch of sweetness to the drink, but can be adjusted to your taste.

To make this mocktail, simply squeeze the juice from two blood oranges and cut two orange slices into quarters. Place the pieces on the bottom of the glass. Add the mint, sugar and Island Ginger jamu. Mix and press the ingredients with a pestle to release the aroma of the mint. Fill the glass with ice and top up with soda water. Use mint and orange slices for garnish.

This mocktail is vegan and perfect for those looking for a healthier and refreshing alternative to alcohol. The Minty Orange mocktail is easy to make and is perfect for serving guests at a dinner party. Or make this mocktail for yourself, just because you feel like it.

Try it and let us know what you think!
