How much ginger in tea?

But how much ginger do you actually need for a cup of tea? That depends on your personal preference and the desired intensity of the ginger flavor. It is generally recommended to use about 1 to 2 teaspoons of grated ginger per cup of tea. You can also use ginger powder if you don't have fresh ginger.
