Jamu smoothie by London Loy

This smoothie is a creation of London Loy , a talented TV chef who is known for his appearances on the Dutch program Koffietijd on RTL 4 . London has carefully formulated this smoothie with nutrient-rich ingredients known for their cleansing, energizing and relaxing effect. The smoothie has been appropriately named Tiger Smoothie, because London was born in the year of the tiger.
This smoothie is perfect for anyone who wants to start the day off right and get the best out of themselves. The combination of ingredients work together to cleanse the body and energize the mind. The strawberries are rich in antioxidants, the banana is a good source of potassium, beetroot is known for its detoxifying properties and arugula is a natural source of vitamins and minerals.
Tropical Turmeric jamu can have an anti-inflammatory effect and the passion fruit is a great source of vitamin C. All these ingredients make this smoothie a great breakfast or even lunch.


Preparation time: 10 minutes Servings : 1 (Vegan)


Ingredients:

6 strawberries
½ banana
½ beetroot
Small handful of arugula
One shot of Tropical Turmeric jamu
One shot of orange juice
The pulp of 1 passion fruit

Supplies:

1 blender

1 glass or smoothie bottle

Method:

1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.


2. Pour the liquid into a glass or bottle and drink, or refrigerate for later. This smoothie will stay fresh in the fridge for up to one day, so you can always make two servings and keep one in the fridge for the next day!

We encourage you to experiment with different ingredients and find the perfect combination that works for you. You can try different fruits and vegetables and don't hesitate to add more or less ingredients according to your taste.
